Quadratic Equation

Quadratic equations are extremely common in physics as many real-world phenomena follow this form. A quadratic equation is one which follows the form:

ax^2+bx+c=0

where a, b, and c are real numbers. Most importantly, a cannot equal zero or else the equation would be linear. There is no such restriction on b and c.

The solution can be found by various methods. The most common include the graphical method as well as the quadratic formula.
