The bond between the two hydrogen atoms in the H_2 molecule is a covalent bond, meaning the atoms share electrons to form the bond.

Specifically, H_2 is common at standard temperature and pressure (T=273.15 K , P=10^5 Pa). Under these conditions, a crystal structure will not form naturally as H_2 is a gas.
